Deven Ghelani was the first Barnes Runner home, followed by Dave Kelly, David Cornock, Stewart Binnie, Elton Ellis, Jonathan Henton, Sophia Turner and Celeste (although not necessarily in that order).
The official results should be on www.west4harriers.org shortly.
Club members continue to run time trials in Richmond
Park and Wimbledon Common. See www.parkrun.com
for details – entry is free.

Ella Allpass – ella.allpass@googlemail.com - is leading the search party/fan club for supporters to watch the marathon, travelling either on bike or on foot.
The expedition worked well last year, supporting club members at several points en route.
David is running to raise funds for NCH, the children’s charity. There’s a post-race reception near the finish line for sponsors. You can find out more and donate at www.justgiving.com/davidcornock.
Many thanks to those of you who have already given generously.
Not since Ian Stroud won the fathers’ race at his daughter’s school has a Barnes Runner emerged triumphant in any sort of competition.
Dylan’s victory over the 4.2 mile course does threaten our reputation as a breakfast and drinking club where running is optional. The committee may have to investigate to discover what went wrong.
Dylan attributes his success to an anti-dehydration strategy successfully employed over lunch on the day of the race.
Dave Kelly, Deven Ghelani, David Cornock and Rob Katschmaryk also took part in the race, which we entered in response to an invitation from our new friends at Fulham RC.
They’re keen to repeat the experience - it could be the start of a beautiful friendship.
